I got out of SAP 12 Months ago and it's been the best decision I've made.
I was a decade within the company. But if you are sick of the BS just move on. Life is too short and wasting bandwidth in this forum.

12 months on and SAP is still living in your head rentfree
💀💀💀
The point is this, you give the bare minimum not to get fired, zone out and wait for the severance package. Ideally you start building a business on the side.
@n6 It largely depends on who your manager is. I still have friends who work at SAP. Their experiences are night and day.
It also depends on your position. I know several people who basically get paid to play video games all day. If I had a position like that I wouldn't have left either.
@n6 some people thought the same until p23, p24 and the upcoming p26.
I will never leave SAP until I retire. It is still a great place to work.
I left a few months ago and I feel like I just found Jesus, discovered weed, and learned Tai Chi all at the same time. I get along with people again. It's wild.
I was caught up in the redundancy and thought that as I was over 60 and a woman, early retirement was my only option. Soon I was deciding among offers from former SAP colleagues, at a much better salary working with people of integrity. What I thought was career ending was the best gift I could have imagined. I went on a fabulous holiday , started my new job - and never want to retire. Life is so much better outside of SAP. Take a chance - you owe it to yourself to work with people whom you respect.
@OP Lucky you.
Where I live there is simply no company that pays SAP salaries. If moving is not an option due to family reasons, it means I have to stick it out.
You left SAP but SAP didn't leave you. That's why you came back
SAP su-ks.
@ak your new.job is a dare devil clown
I was there 21 years before I was caught up in P2023.
I found a new position at a competitor, and it's basically a 59% salary increase (before bonus) and my new company and org has a really healthy work culture and supports us in what we do. Ideas are welcomed and opportunities are there.
I thought SAP was the end-all-be-all of my career, and looking back, I wish I looked outwards years sooner. You have no idea how toxic that place is until you work somewhere that appreciates you.
It's amazing what can be achieved when you work at a place where L2/L3 leadership isn't exclusively focused on being cringey self-promoting LinkedIn pseudo-celebrities (in their own minds, anyway).
You may have left SAP but you came back on this forum haha
