Anthem already insures themselves against large fines such as this and they are usually reduced after mediation anyways.
Fines don’t add up to the cost savings of the rif. Until that happens, nothing will change. Company still comes out on top.
decisions, ignorance and arrogance caused many to be RIFed. The company continues to rack up fines and penalties and then RIFs because of poor management and decisions. If you were RIFed in 2026 it’s because of this right here. The life’s, families and people whose livelihood was destroyed because of bad decisions.
