Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

Time for a change

This is the perfect time to look at why you're staying at Bank of America and see if it's time to move on to the next chapter of your career. Realistically, nobody is staying here for the pay or benefits. You can get better at any alternative. People used to be the main reason why I stayed, but with so many gone through layoffs and attrition, I don't think that excuse works for many of us anymore. There is always the 'better the devil you know than the devil you don't know' fear, and I can understand that one. I've been grappling with it for a while but recently I realized that it really can't get much worse than this place, whatever I chose. I decided to move on and I think many should reassess their reasons for staying and realize most of them are gone by now.

That may be true for many areas but it is not for those in mortgage operations. Rate increases this year have reduced available openings throughout the US.
