Synopsys ranks #66 overall with an Overall Score of 60.7, above the Software & Services industry average of 58.1. Its strengths are exactly where one would want them: Innovation Rank #36, Talent Readiness #57, and Agility #79. That is a strong future-readiness profile for a software company tied to chip design and advanced engineering workflows.
The surprising weakness is AI Rank #184, which is not poor but is lower than the company’s strategic relevance to AI hardware design would suggest. Resilience is also weak at #306, while Financial Fitness is mid-pack at #190. The data suggests Synopsys is an innovation and talent winner, but not a fully balanced leader. Strategically, it remains one of the better software names in the list, but the ranking does not place it in the same class as Microsoft, Salesforce, Adobe, or ServiceNow.
