Bank of America ranks #84 overall with an Overall Score of 58.3, placing it 3rd out of 14 banks. The strongest factors are Talent Readiness Rank #59, Innovation #94, Financial Fitness #101, and Resilience #155. Relative to the bank group, this is a strong profile.
The main weakness is AI Rank #301, which is surprisingly low for a very large financial institution with significant technology resources. Agility is also middling at #253. The strategic read is that Bank of America screens as one of the better traditional banks, but not because of AI leadership. It looks more like a scale, talent, and execution-quality bank than a cutting-edge future-readiness platform.
