Thread regarding Centene Corp. layoffs

Green

Does anyone know the trick to keep teams status green, even if you are curled up in the fetal position on the floor?

Seriously, just put yourself on “Away” and take care of yourself. I hope you would be respected more for being honest that you need to step away than going through that much trouble to appear like this isn’t affecting you.

Open an excel file and place a small weight on the ‘enter’ key of the keyboard. Will give you about 9 hours.

The green light from MS Teams reminds me from that movie scene with Hal staring at the two astronauts talking in the sound proof escape pod, but Hal was reading their lips.

Not exactly the same but has that same creepiness!

And they why all of a sudden engineers lost their ability to innovate and create, and fix problems. It is because of that stupid MS Teams and similar tools like it!

Mouse jigglers exist. Tbh everyone needs one. If they fire you / lay you off for "not being present" while still getting your deliverables done on time then they can risk getting an employee that wont be present AND wont do their sh-t on time.

I don't know but our team was told that they're monitoring this very closely now.

@OP do you have a wireless mouse? If so, grab that thing and jiggle it around and click it every couple minutes while sobbing on the floor. I might try that myself.
