That Colan—— group should be the first one to go
Like a lot of verizon groups, I think this one has a weird origin story driven by org structure and turf wars. Didn't product used to be separate, but then it got moved under marketing, which then caused the formation of a tech enablement group (which overlapped with technology teams), just so an svp could maintain a role? That may not be fair or generous but I recall that's how it looked at the time.
We all know the product teams have done such a wonderful job!
