Thread regarding Fossil Inc. layoffs

Passing out opinions like lollipops

Since when does a company have almost every single person in the building make a decision on even the littlest things? The higher ups, like ML and that whole lot, have better things to worry about than half of the stuff they have to “approve” before anyone can actually move forward with their jobs.

Have a little faith in the people you employ, and maybe focus more on idk maybe a cohesive brand????? We’ve lost the plot entirely

@k5 ahhhh the lovely "I don't want to own that idea because I'll get 'fired' for my words" feeling is strong in that building, unless you're a higher up who can make one comment and completely wreak havoc in everyone's lives and not even care

A lot of people leading with their emotions and their own personal opinions (which are trash, by the way)

Not to mention the blame game and constant flip flopping. One day they love an idea and then the next day they claim they never approved it. Clearly they skipped Extreme Ownership in leadership book club
