Anyone else get a meeting invite for this week that is vague? I received one but others on my same dept didn’t. I’m wondering if it’s a layoff

Wonder why it was cancelled.
@OP It was from our VP, or new one anyway - I assume now that it is due to the reorg., since it came from my new VP. There were about 100+ people on it which are a variety from the same division I work in. The meeting was for tomorrow but was canceled early this morning.
@b0 you’ll know if the meeting starts and suddenly an HR person jumps on the Team meeting. Tell the skip level to save the talking points, mention your accomplishments, thank them for the opportunity, and then listen to the severance benefits. Don’t sign anything, you by law have a couple weeks. Although tempting to mention the obscene amount of money leadership makes, or how its not fair that tweedle dee and tweedle dum still have jobs, just realize it is a business decision and has absolutely nothing to do with you or your worth. Just a spreadsheet from a consultant likely months ago. If you really think it is possibly going to happen, save a draft email with all the people you would like to say goodbye to and send during your teams meeting. Once meeting over, your access will suddenly stop.
