Are they actually going to make us wait until August 10th to know if we are still here? That is so far away.

@OP that would only be if you applied for a position if not your done with severance and unemployment just have to work to your last day
You're right, it is a long time to find out if you will still be incarcerated, or if they are going to commute your sentence, and set you free.
