Central Admixture Pharmacy Services (CAPS) will close two facilities in Upper Macungie Township. This subsidiary of B. Braun Medical Inc. will lay off 173 employees. The cuts are scheduled to begin on September 30 and conclude by December 31. CAPS is exiting the 503B sterile compounding business. This move is part of a strategic refocus on its core 503A compounding operations.
