Aside from the overall strategy to reduce the onshore employees, which is terrible for us all and of course we all hate it... would you ever admit that seeing the company rally back is a positive? Or has hatred for the company which allows you to pay your mortgage clouded that fact?

Rally back? Sounds like you drank the #America250 Kool-aid. Well, UHG is a sponsor so makes sense they you would make this thread. We see your HR.
@OP If I am honest because of how we are treated and its bad most of us have worked here so long we don't know there is better. I want to see them sink so bad.
@bs are you brainwashed. Corporate abuse is not normal stop trying to normalize it. Yes other companies that red rover their executives are a hive mind of bad practices and take their BS to every company they touch. Look at IBM, Enron, GE, GM. All were leaders of their industry, all have fallen far from where they were. The pattern is the leadership style and cultures.
The only upside is the stock I purchased through the epp isn’t worth half anymore so I can seem it. I hold so much animosity for this company for what they have put me and countless others through in the name of corporate politics that I actively root for the failure of this organization. UHG will fail it’ll just take time.
@a6 401k reductions are not a unique UHG thing. Many companies have done it. And raises su-k everywhere. Point out something unique to make your point. The offshore effort was a strategy set years ago.
@a5 soft baby
@a2 child or x employee
That would be an unadulterated no for me! Impossible to come back from the seventh layer of He-l you money grubbing wh*res
Oh yeah I’m super happy for those executives getting more money. I see none of it. Bonus stripped away, less benefits and more work. Paying a roof over my head is a necessity of any job. I will never thank them for it.
The work that I put in daily is what "allows" me to pay my mortgage. Stop speaking of a company as if it's a living, breathing entity. Whatever success this company has is due to the employees. You know, the living, breathing people. Without us, the company wouldn't exist.
Rally back from where? You are definitely upper leadership because they're the only ones comfortable enough to be so deluded. You are part of the problem, and that is a fact.
@OP “Rally back” has disproportionately benefited the top 4 or 5 and at most, the top 100. Even worse, there’s now even more incentive to cut US workers to avoid paying RSU units yet to be distributed. Lastly, stock buybacks came at the expense of 401k matching (decrease from 4.5% to 3.5%}, embarrassing 1% raise pool in times of high inflation and the company’s financial turnaround, and not paying 100% bonus for reasons that remain unexplained.
Stocks are a step removed from crypto-coins. Retail investors like to pretend there is some actual wisdom behind driving prices but at the end of the day, a lot of it is hype and speculation driven.
Couple that with UHG having been down because a guy got shot and we were being investigated and people outside of the company were (rightfully some might say) upset with the company, it's reasonable to believe that all simply got priced in.
But the stock being 'up' from a 5 year low doesn't make this place, which is simply a part of UHG, any nicer to work at. We still get sh-t raises, we still get sh-t benefits, we still have toxic leadership who are playing games with the lives of both employees and customers, we're still seeing critical roles getting offshored every month to people with no interest or care in actually improving things here.
The stock being up doesn't help with the fact that I still have to put up with the lowest common denominator of evil soulless 'humans' who constantly demean others and treat people like garbage just because they got nepo'd into a leadership role.
define "rally back" the stock price could get to $700 a share and this will still be an a5s place to work
