I work in Production delivery team. We have a new team member with "FDE" as job title and is hired from Cognizant
Team leadership has been advised to create process documents for all the work and share with FDE.
FDE is Forward Deployment Engineer who will have domain knowledge and deliver the work with the use of AI.
@a1 have you considered a career in forum moderation? What is irrelevant to you may be extremely relevant to another. You seem to have missed the point about establishing another beachhead for layoffs. This is the entire point of this forum.
@a1 seems pretty straightforward. They are looking for ways to lay off more people. Finding AI solutions that will replace more people.
