@ey - I do not know about TPD in Boston,
but TPD in general usually has less impacted compared with other groups (Network , GTS) in GNT
RIF is finalized based on 6/29 severance claim of 350m that vz filed in 8k…. Seems the plan is already locked in who is going, we are just sitting ducks till Next Thursday. Below ai analysis of the 8k filling-
“The remaining, larger chunk of the $350M–$450M charge represents a forward-looking accrual for the upcoming July wave. Corporate accounting allows a company to book a severance charge before employees physically walk out the door, provided two strict conditions were met by June 30:The Plan is Final: Executive leadership completely finalized the exact number of impacted roles, business units, and severance formulas for the July wave before the quarter closed.The "Mutual Understanding" Window: The company initiated the communication window or established standard written severance policies that legally bind the company to pay out those specific benefits.”
TPD layoffs is TBD
@az Do they print the reports on toilet paper or do they report on the toilet paper usage? I can imagine they do both combined, so they are untouchable
Toilet Paper Department. Ain’t that some chit?
Strap it up!
@a2 They run TPD reports
Boston will be most impacted especially after the buildings closed
@a2 TPD is part of GNT, but it is not part of GTS
7/16 definitely is the date this month but don’t know if Boston is part of it or not. TPD is being looked at closely to see if they have made any impact to the top line by their products so definitely a chance but not sure.
What is TPD? who comes up with these names :)
that just indicates Lots of groups, lots of teams and lots of duplication
If not July 16, then your turn is coming later in the year for whatever TPD is.
Yup, happening !
