Then they should have named it WatchMe.
@fh it’s there
@fc It absolutely is. It's on my laptop. Check your chrome extensions.
@eb this is fake news. WalkMe is not installed on SAP employee computers. It is a product customers have to pay for.
@es L1 and L2 and L3 usually. We have levels from T1 to T5. Above T5, we have "executives". They usually lead a large area in SAP. Their salaries in Germany and France are above 300k and their bonus structure is not based on performance management. It is part of a budget pool so they get more money if they save more budget in their area. That is why they are always pushing to reduce benefits and salary increments. A lot of make more than €500 a year including salary, bonuses and RSUs.
Who are the area executives
@e6 No. They monitor time used in calls on Teams or in an outlook meeting where a physical meeting room is booked. Then they deduct time for lunch, especially if you have not skipped lunch using the app. For the time you are away on Teams, WalkMe checks your browser history. This is done in addition to checking for how many AI tokens you burn. It should not affect your computer's performance as Microsoft is only logging this information and the calculations do not happen on your machine. This is the reason they wanted to ki-l slack and use Teams and MS products everywhere. Microsoft logs every minute of non-activity. WalkMe logs every minute of browser inactivity. But final decision will always be with the area executives so just be friends with them and you will be okay.
@a4 That would explain my machine's performance issues.
I'd just assumed they'd done a poor job of installing a keylogger.
This is so dystopian.
A colleague in Walkme told me that they are also asked to monitor everything that goes on in all employee browsers. That's why Walkme was force installed on all employee computer browsers. They also monitor AI usage via the browser but the reports are only available to their upper management and shared with area executives at SAP.
