I was told by an AD yesterday that they were asked “to do something they don’t typically do for midyear reviews and when asked why the Director said they don’t know why.” Any idea what this is and if it’s specific to this org or something happening more broadly?

Considering that is the same thing the ADs in the other centers they announced closures for in Mid-June did, its likely this is pre-planning for the final round of closures in 2026. I pray it isn't for everyone involved but the writing on the wall and having gone through this myself, make sure you have a back up plan just in case.
Are people getting put on "growth plans" disguised as PIPs?
All of Press had to rank top 20% and bottom 20%. You know what it’s going to be used for.
Probably to put people on PIPs whenever they can. That’s not something they typically do
