I'm sure a few folks have gone through the new mid-year check-in. What is involved ... was a meeting necessary or could an email take care of it?

Mid-year review without the word review. It's a "conversation." Whatever, still a rating given. There must be a liability reason for the change of label.
Welp I got an IM. Guess I'm on my way out. 😵💫
Simple feedback, and not technically a rating but you'll be told ME, IM, etc. I got a blurb via email that'll show up in workday.
All IMs will be fired by end of the year
Or in a case as mine, logging into workday on my own after being displaced and discovering a rating was given to you without even being told you had one. The rating too was inconsistently meets.
I had my check in on one of the first days, my manager was like “yea you’re doing great”.
Haven’t spoken to him since lol.
These are managers that should be let go
Total waste of time. Here’s what happened:
Mgr: so we have to do a check in, you are meets.
Me: okay, thanks
Mgr: any questions
Me: no
Mgr: ok have a good day
Co-pilot said I consistently exceed.
I had my check-in but wasn’t told there was a rating attached.
Certainly could have been an email. Mine was snuck in at the end of my one on one... "Oh, by the way, the new check-in I have you as meets."
Ok.
