What's left are people are tenured sellers stuck in a situation where they need to provide for their families.
Most of the people that got CDW to $20 billion left in the first wave after the IPO over a decade ago. Then more of the heavy hitters in sales left once the outsourcing and contractors started replacing US backbone staff.
Those sales leaders and sellers mostly went to LinkedIn, the channel partners, or smaller competitors that provide a higher base and higher cut of profits.
I'm an ex-coworker with shares and I'm hoping whatever the new plan is, gets shares rebounding with higher dividends.
If these new hires are hungry and bring back the old CDW where people made 70-100 dials and were on the phones 3-4+ hours a day...stock could rebound.
Crossing my fingers for everyone. If they win...I'll win too since I'm still invested.
