How can fiscam justify the push of AI now that the costs are becoming clearer?

Just typing this post took more brain power than the sum total of all of our SVP/EVPs have put into considering AI ROI.
FWIW this ain’t just Fiserv. All companies bought into the AI push and paid premium prices over buying and implementing thinking they would be left behind if they didn’t. FOMO at its finest. Most companies are not finding out good employees are better options than AI. There are applications sure but you can’t shove it into every sector of a business on the notion of cost savings.
