@c0 indeed, it does not hold yet in court as a single reason for layoffs. However, they are instrumentalizing AI-usage as part of performance, so they will frame it in that direction.

@ax HR indeed is looking into how many sick-leaves you have had. They are framing this as a “risk” for them, so they can fire you. I know this because they were trying this with me. HR is in beast mode, they are tasked with layoffs without severance.

@ax I don't think that not using enough AI is a valid argument to lay off people in Europe. SAP will lose every single case in court with penalties and bad buzz that will be on the media for weeks. Especially when major elections are taking place in 2027...too risky !

In the past, the works council members found out that SAP HR was trying to get a list of employees who took more medical leave of sick leave on an average and also employees who don’t pay church tax in Germany. They’re also actively tracking who uses AI and who doesn’t. Meta was recently found to use such data to lay off employees. I wonder if SAP HR is doing the same with Project Fuji. Does anyone know?
