We worked perfectly fine remote during Covid. Then it’s back to the office but no assigned seating. Fine. Then it’s tracking days in office. Ok. Then it’s tracking hours in office. Alright making it work. Now they are taking away specialty locations. Annoying and decreases talent pool. But now they want to focus on making teams sit with each other and move offices so people are co-located. Are we children? Give back assigned seats or treat us like adults as long as we get the job done. Next they will be required 4 days and/or certain days. I prefer to find a nice quiet corner to get my work done.

It's all about passive-aggressively getting people to quit. Since that's moving too slowly, now there is pressure to standardize corrective action (meaning to increase the number of occurences and IM ratings) to terminate without severance.
For the folks who got termed with inconsistently meets, did you still get a bonus and severance or nothing? Trying to figure out my odds
@ba - I would stick it out and let them term you. At least then you can get unemployment.
@bx - This happened to me. I had my year end review in January and right after I got back from vacation with my family, they termed me. I had to reviews of "Inconsistently Meets". There was no warning.
@bz gave mid year and year end as inconsistent meets. After that so you might have some time.
@bx I was the poster your replied to and appreciate the response. Did they wait until year end rating ti terminate you or was it before? Figuring out my timing as I have a job offer open which is a step down but not this place
@ba Quit while you can because this is just beginning. Starts with unexpected inconsistent meet, then few work day check in and one fine day your manager says bye- bye without severance based on performance review. Now as you were terminated based on performance, you are ineligible to hire in Wells Fargo for lifetime. Even if you try to fight it with HR it’s useless. All this based on my true experience and many of my co- worker’s. Thankfully I found something very quickly, but this place is shithole and they have no idea how to treat loyalty.
It was always just an excuse to fire you.
2018: WFH, it saves the company money
2020: stay home or you're fired
2022: work in building X or you're fired
2023-2026: you're fired for working on building X
2026: you're fired because some other person doesn't work in building X.
I wish that just once they would tell the truth. They want all Americans gone, outside of a few sales people. That's it. Everything else is a lie.
@ab does it really get better? Just got an unexpected do not meets with some bizarre reasons. I’m considering leaving without a job because my mental health can’t take anymore
You poor ba----ds. Get out and save yourself. I did and what a change getting out of the toxicity.
Certain teams already have required 4 days a week. They're have even been talks that management has been getting pressure from above to "encourage" employees to show up on Fridays because senior leadership doesn't like seeing office spaces more bare on Fridays. We'll see if anything more comes of it in time I guess..
What special locations are you talking about? People work in our connections space all the time.
