Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Anyone seeing the cracks on the wall?

After hearing about the "Southwest issue" such as out of date technology, old ways of doing things, employees letting other know these issues but never being heard. One day something will give way and Wells Fargo will be in the same situation. Wells Fargo's Technology is so bad with systems always going down and red tape always stopping things from getting done. Seems the left hand has NO clue what the right hand is doing. The employees and customers are the ones getting hurt here. The higher ups are so clueless on what's happening on the frontline. Breaks my heart.

Already the "new" mobile app fails to display account information, repeatedly.

True, but also, it's been that way for 20 years. Wells always invested in people and not tech. Now they are slowing trying to reverse. Competition did most of this 10 years ago

I think the better question is “Who ISN’T seeing the cracks?”
Because of you don’t- you need a reality check.

I eagerly await the day.

Also, with Charlie’s unrelenting drive to save money by recklessly sending work and access to highly sensitive information to third world countries - I won’t be surprised when Wells Fargo gets hacked from the inside.

Some day? It’s already happening.

Already happened a couple years ago. Everything was down for days, and we even missed our own payroll for a lot of employees (like me). They blamed it on a fire, but lots of stuff failed and errors cascaded. True story never saw the light of day.
