Are we really going to silently accept a drop in our real salaries? At the first townhall this year we were told we'd get an update on merit increase by June.
It's mid-July. No update. No explanation. Nothing. Leadership had no problem making the promise publicly, apparently following through with even a basic communication is a different story.

This is such a sore subject... I was working hard towards a comp adjustment and promotion... Somehow I got the rare far exceeds... I wish that was a brag but it got me no merit, no market adjustment, and no promotion. My VP even tried to bail and switch and tell me I could take one more work and I might get a promotion. I told him he-l no, I'm not taking more more on for the off chance there would be a raise/promotion in the future. Your poor staffing is not my problem.
Yes I'm incentive eligible bug I'm at the bottom of the pile at grade 11 and get a bonus that would be less than a 3% merit.
If it wasn't for the comfort level and flexibility I surprisely have I would have left already
They said a while ago they just weren’t gonna give merit for anyone incentive eligible.
Pushing back raises farther and farther every year. It's a sign they want you to quit and not pay you more than they have to. Most healthy companies give raises every year like clockwork.
Fiserv is trash. I hope everyone who is employed by fiserv lands a better job soon. Nothing would make me happier. If fiserv went bankrupt, it would also put a smile on my face.
@a1 and yet somehow we can afford to pay out a ridiculous amount to DS...
@ak Managers and above didn’t.
What do you mean? We got merit raises in April…
You could have typed the same message to an HR VP:
The absence of an answer is the answer.
How do you think the exceeds expectations folks feel....double sc--wed...although i guess that extra 0.5% -1% really isn't much to write home about. .... pretty good way to illustrate why going above and beyond is pointless in this company. It has morphed into "it's just a job" .... put more time into a side hustle or just time at home on your couch... pays off better.
We spent all our $$$ on ML and DS….
Huh? Everyone knew we weren’t getting one! With the amount of turmoil in this company just be glad to get a paycheck
