Remember, it was you who moved the ball for the company. It was the front line employee who made a difference to the customer base. It was you that made VZW. Not the so called decision makers. That being said, the best way to combat this is to all go work for a competitor, and bring what you brought to make VZW great. Let’s take VZW down by stacking the competition with highly driven, winning-cultured players in the industry.

Verizon cell techs are grossly overpaid for the type of work that they do. They get paid over 100k in wages plus benefits and all they do - just open tickets with vendors on every issue. There a few good ones but very, very few. Most Verizon cell techs are just paper-pushers who don't know first thing about their job and are not worth their 100k wages. For the work that they do - other companies pay 60K max. There is a lot of money to be saved for Verizon if they find a way to optimize Field Operations - a lot of dead weight there.
I thought it was the Network Engineering and Operations folks that pushed VZW to the top. I remember the famous ”can you hear me now” guy.
Ive never heard anyone say it was sales that made the company before. The amount of dishonest people that have straight up lied to customers just to make a sale is enormous. Walk in a store today and you see sales associates just sitting around playing on their phones.
