To have these indefinite rolling layoffs going on already for a year and probably continuing for few more years. What a morally bankrupt leadership void of any care for their employees. Also notice how this repugnant disgusting selfish behavior has been normalized and everyone has accepted it as common and ordinary. But it's nothing like it.

I can say get rid off 25% and no one notices anything. Just too much fat many people just pushing paper.
It wasn't much better 10 to 15 years ago, constant layoffs and that was with being in the office 5 days a week and people were miserable then. From about 2016-2023 there was sort of a freeze in doing much, and actually they probably hired and kept too many people they shouldn't have; and kept some fairly lousy employees who are still there now.
Problem is now the leadership is even worse with middle to upper management having no idea what anyone really does except looking at spreadsheets to determine sometimes who they want to keep. Many of the managers still there are doing the same thing they did 15 years ago just to act busy and justify their job. There is very little creativity or anything new. The stuff they brag about is really fairly useless and just to make it look like they are doing something important. Unfortunately a lot of areas in the company have been going downhill for awhile and it was just on pause. Unfortunately they have no real clear path so if you want to work for a place that feels like middle school then that's what it has always been and just gotten worse. Many could tolerate it when at home and they didn't see all the BS and everyone was just ignoring poor management then to keep their job. Sorry, not saying their isn't some great people there, but overall the cream isn't rising to the top.
