Size of the layoff

Some are even anticipating that the size of this round of layoffs could reach 9%. Any thoughts?

there are so many people at dell that are quiet quitting, second jobs, people know who they are. I think this is a good thing that they have layoffs, long overdue.

Use that time with your manager to plead your case.
They may be overlooking value of not outsourcing your work
Tell them to expect more in your performance
Remember it’s up to you. Maybe just maybe that call is just what you needed.

Received the zoom invite from Senior Director -two levels above my manager. Monday 10:00 AM. No comment from my immediate manager when I spoke to him; no return call from my Senior Director when asked what is the one-on-one in regards to.

the official line is 5 percent cuts. last time this big of a layoff happened it was 9 percent.. so i guess thats a plus.

most people will be notified Tuesday morning(7th), giving them their last day of the 10th, the Tuesday morning meeting will be invite to a zoom from their boss, HR will get added through a forward. look for the invite Monday evening or early Tuesday morning in AMER.. if you are in another geo realize that there are different laws and time frames.
