Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

Give me 2X the work please! I can do more with less!

Talk to me like I'm a person! B.S. questions about why something isn't done in a reasonable time while attempting to help the #1 Member at the same time is harassment. Club Area Focus and Audits and Members, it's too much all at the same time. Adding to the tasks are the Managers slapping on details they want corrected, and of course random spills, team lifts here and there. The membership desk asking Merchandisers to restock large items. Carts need help, so call a merchandiser. Backroom called off, so call a merchandiser. Member Assistance needs help loading with the cart attendant. It goes on and on and on. Clock in at 4 am, work till you get stopped by a team lead to do something left over in an email, and feel like a failure every day. This is what it feels like in my club as a merchandiser. Areas are going to hel* like beer and wine, nobody works electronics anymore, there are only worker bees making sure corporate people and some managers sitting in an office get some pictures instead of the real hel* we're going through to make them look good.
I would never recommend anyone with self-respect to work here, at least in my club. I'm stuck here because of some poor decisions. Don't be a merchandiser!
