Found so many sudden layoffs on Friday (2/3) Any idea?

Pls note nothing bad to get laid off from Nije. There is a life after Nike you will all Adventist find the hood paying jobs and move on vs living in a fear and stress and getting sick
Oh come on. Layoff is not the same with firing. Layoff comes with severance more than half the time. Firing comes with...you know what. If I'm looking to find job outside Nike and accidentally get laid off with couple months severance, myyy goodness thats considered hitting the lottery!!
Stop fear mongering. You would know if there are layoffs because they would announce them (and it would make headlines) and then proceed, I highly doubt they’re going to pull a Google, the backlash towards that has not been good to their image. You either don’t work for Nike because that’s never how it’s worked before or you’re just paranoid.

i know 2 folks from 2 different orgs who were let go, reasons unknown
I haven’t heard anything, but I know trimmings happen every week but it’s like 1 or 2 people per department. But Nike has been doing that since 2028.
Name departments or it didn’t happen.
