Thread regarding Dell Inc. layoffs

Dell saving money again?

Most companies will contract large layoffs out and have an army of HR consultants. It will be big movemnets and cuts in a few strokes

Dell recently laid off large section of HR. I am thinking this laidoff feels weird because they are processing it in-house with the hr staff on hand to save more money

so we are seeing an epic slow slow cook

There was a feed 24 days ago on collecting unemployment in Massachusetts. The answer was yes you can collect with severance. If you are available for work etc.

I was recently laid off and filed for unemployment. I may be denied because severance was paid out, has anyone else experienced this?

No wonder it was so screwed up. Anything Dell touches turns to Sh-t!

Dell has always managed WFR’s in-house.
