I guess 2/13 meeting should be fine as it might be an update meeting. What I heard from my manager is that they are not able to share any info till Friday and will provide an update on Monday.
Could be wrong here but I think the majority of notifications were sent out Monday and Tuesday
First i'm saddened with the way things are right now. I wish you all the best. Can anyone that was given notification confirm if they got an invite for a call on 2/13?
I luckily am unaffected however and I am fully aware I am underpaid. BUT, here's the thing. I fkn love my manager, everyone I work with, my job and what i do, and getting paid to basically play video games, nap, watch netflix more hours than i actually work lmfao. 5 years and going strong
I had gotten my invite last week Thursday I think to change one in one from Wed to Tuesday I knew immediately what was up.
Started searching for better work today.
Why put the effort in when its a one way street?
Anyone surviving this round feel any obligation to give 2 week notice if you find better work?
yeah it looks like this wave are all dated to 2/10 separation.. at least mine was and I got my 1x1 invite on friday for monday. I was in sales.
I hate to be the fear monger but this looks like a week of stress as the axe is falling every day, I know two ISG people who got the axe today. As my wife put it: "at least you got laid off on monday and don't have to stress it for 5 days"
NOTHING is going on at dell this week. everyone is on hold.

To anyone that was WFR'd today or yesterday, I'm here to tell you, that was me right at the height of covid, during Dell's last BIGGEST layoff in 2020. No one was hiring and future was very uncertain. I ended up landing a great job within a couple of months, a much better job actually! Remember to apply for every benefit you're entitled to. Try not to panic. Try to take a breather as you begin your new-job journey. You might find you are better off than you were. Best of luck!

While we have been told no cuts,making any money going forward will be a major challenge.

I'm in ISG Presales and we lost a few people Monday. Looks like Monday was heavy on Sales. We had a few great sales reps let go. Today a few people in Services that I knew were let go. Definitely not over yet. All had calendar invites for a 9AM "Business update" meeting.
There is more to come.
Seems to be a rolling cut over a few days.
Are billable resources (fully billable to clients) safe or it doesn't matter?
