Thread regarding Dell Inc. layoffs

More layoffs today

I know we're nowhere near done with layoffs. We'll probably have cuts throughout the entire week. My question is, if our team has already been affected yesterday, are the rest of us safe? My thinking is that chances are small they would spread layoffs in the same team over a few days, but I guess it's not impossible.

Vacation payout is based on what state you are in. A few states legally require that payout.

I'm curious about LTI. With the next block of RSU's set to vest on March 15, any accelerated vesting of those shares, or are they lost?

You two mentioned this package:
2 mos severance
1 wk pay per year worked at Dell
75% bonus
Paid COBRA for 2 months
2 mos outplacement assistance

Did you get vaca pay too? I was told this was added to past layoffs.

Anyone, especially those with long tenure that are terminated, should immediately engage an employment attorney; will cost about $200-400, but have them review the agreement and conditions.

Can confirm layoffs.

2 mos severance
1 wk pay per year worked at Dell
75% bonus
Paid COBRA for 2 months
2 mos outplacement assistance
And a really lame, scripted speech to start off your call with your Director
