I'm not worried about tomorrow

The worst-case scenario? I no longer work here. That might have been a scary prospect a while ago, but lately? Not really. This place has changed so much for the worse that being given severance to leave can only be seen as a gift or a blessing. For those who are worried about finding a new job, please spend some time looking at openings. There are plenty of good available jobs in our field. Unless you're in tech, then you're screwed.

I know of four TES analysts who were laid off this week.

I saw a couple of connections on LinkedIn, who are Client Managers, post they were let go.

That's part of the problem, post-emdeon, they could never make sense of what they were.

Software Analytics took a pretty big hit, and some of the cuts made no sense in terms of job function.

More cuts early-March, likely to be a big swath at that time. Gotta get the numbers in line before the beginning of the new, post-merger FY.

For the 9 who were laid off - was it in TES or Network or IT or ?
Did the script say WHY? (unlikely
What was the length of service of the individuals affected? or was it random?
Wishing all of those affected the best - one door closes and another one opens.

Yes it’s true - 9 of us were told on a call today that we are being laid off, last day is March 9th. They were given a script to read to us and that’s how we found out we were getting laid off…..

Severance information will be sent in 1-3 days…..

All of it is true. Hundreds are being notified today and will have one month then the 3rd round will happen on March 9th and will terminate on April 9th, just after year end and Q4.

Our entire department received an invite for tomorrow morning - Business Update - Attendance Required

In my case I got the meeting invite in the late afternoon for a morning call the next day. A team mate received their invite for the same day.

When would someone expect to receive that email meeting request - the day before, an hour or more before, 15 minutes before the meeting?

You get a meeting invite with “Business Update Attendance Required” in the subject and they RIF you over the phone. 4 weeks heads up before end date.
