Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Communication Sheets

For BPI and STI should be out to managers by EOD on Monday.
This is according to a reliable source for at least my group. I suppose HR staff supporting other groups may be slower, but I don't expect that to be the case.

Good luck, everybody.

You need job title and geographic area to arrive at the "at market" for your job. Your supervisor and/or your business partner should provide you with market rate for your position if you ask.

To answer someone's else's question about bpi, yes a performing person below market could absolutely receive a higher increase than someone leading who is at or above market.

VBG also Ops Enablement 6V. 4.25 and 87pc STI. 107k. Definitely not near market in my opinion. If you look at the posting, looks like 6V Ops Enablement is about 106k if I recall start. 6V Ops Support is lower - 89K start. Program and Project Management is slightly higher like 109

Did you happen to get a lot of mid cycle raises during the Worldcom days, or perhaps work in a VHCOL area?

I’m 5 years in and $104k before STI. 4% BPI, 87% STI. Middle COL (not Tulsa, but also not NYC).

Does anyone know what the current pay scale is for a VBG Wireless Sales Ops & Enablement Manager (6V) is? I am trying to figure where I fall on the Approaching Market Scale. Cause I know for damn sure I am not At Market.

My raise is what appears to be the standard 4.25% with the 87% STI

BPI used to be based on both your performance score and position in range. If you both have the same title in the same pay area then you may already make more money.

You say you received a 2% due to being near or at top of band. What salary is that for a 7T?

STI % was the same for all business units this year. 87% The only way you'll see > 5% raise is by being leading and/or being near the bottom of your pay scale.

Verizon Business Program Manager. 2% raise here also. Nowhere near matching inflation. Very disappointing.

Lower raises in a year with record inflation and rising cost of living. VZ talent is going to start (or continue) looking elsewhere and only those without other options will remain

Just got mine. VBG Network Engineer 7T. 2% raise and 87% STI. Last year I got a 4% raise, but 0% for 3 years prior being "topped off in salary band".

Why would they want management to give BPI and STI target for 2023 communication sheets to people after they were riffed? Seems they should want to do it fast preRIF and avoid that awkwardness.

How does someone wonder what positions still get base pay increases? I expect they are probably somewhere in senior leadership to be that out of touch.

Stock together amount awarded is the same every year based on your band. It's given as shares of stock on the award day (usually around Mar 2), so the actual value may fluctuate.
You can look up the actual cash value at any time in net benefits.
This year we should be getting paid for stock together distributions from 2022, 2021, and 2020.

All managers will know by Monday morning - STI is roughly known to all might vary depending on individual rating. BPI and Stock together will be something that are unknown
