I remember someone say something very stupid, regarding we can found Jon easily in some startup after lay off, well won't be more money for the start-ups:

BTW: Most of the positions posted in LinkedIn are full of candidates, even the positions that previously struggled to found candidates.

Your point doesn't make much sense. SVB went down because "it needed to raise $2.25 billion to shore up its balance sheet" due to poor management, which naturally resulted in a bank run. So, this is the case where those managers should all be laid off.
