Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

What do you think?

Looks to me like high inflation rates & Verizons high debt, puts all the eggs into the single basket of relying on high 5G sales to sustain the company. The numbers don't lie. What do you think?

The video provides a great analysis and is spot on. However, I still believe it is a good long-term investment because the company's cash flows will survive its current weak management. With respect to debt, telecom companies are typically capital intensive and therefore debt intensive too.

The problem comes when the management takes advantage of the company's easy ability to borrow, only to invest the funds in fantasies like 5G, AOL/Yahoo, Ventures and Video. This is an American telecommunications company not some ESG/DEI/silicon Valley phantsy company.

Just sayin

Total shutdown on core side..... Next layoffs for all new hires without job protections. Way to CWA. No faith in this union anymore. Gave away everything except the pension. For the remainder. They got their benefits while working. Blame Shelton and the National for selling every remainder member. 3% raises and 6 to 7 % cpi . NOT A FEN RAISE you clueless fucs.

Interest rates are going much, much higher. I will be entertaining to see how Verizon refinances its $125 billion in debt while still trying to pay it's dividend. No wonder Ellis was shown the door. Hilarious 😂
