Thread regarding Citigroup Inc. / Citibank / Citi layoffs

Equal risk vs. ESG

I think layoffs need to be percentage based. If the Citi work force is 80% men and 20% women, then that should be the layoff percentage. If you need to layoff 100 people, then that layoff pool needs to be 80% men and 20% women. 8 males and 2 females.

Equal work, equal pay and equal risk.

I agree but only if the female employee also agrees. If she does not, then she’s in the right to not inherit the same risk as males when it comes to layoffs. You know, the standard to not consider it a double standard. If you did that, then they would not like it so, its not allowed.

Typical standard response I suppose. Want the title, want the recognition, want the pay…..just not the risk. Nope certainly not the risk, you can keep that, funnel the risk to others. Just keep on being warm under that comfy protective blanket of ESG knowing all the while its all you’ve truly got.

I think there should be minimum intelligence standards one has to meet in order to create a post, but we can't always get we want!

I hope the next pilot flying your plane, or next doctor operating on you is only there because of the color of their skin, or what private parts they were born with.
