Funny, another person just got terminated for E/C violations in HCBG today. Ethical company my A**
I was harassed and belittled by a manager and then knowingly a supervisor told a colleague not to associate with me. This is not an ethical company!
CFO is known to be an extreme s-xist. Watch out if you are a woman presenting/working with him.
I cannot believe so many have gone through or are going through the same harassment by their manager. My manager criticized me based on my nationality, yelled at me, berated me and more. HR did nothing. It is obvious that if you are not part of the “tribe” you are powerless against abusive behavior at 3M.

My supervisor did not look like me.
She was an Asian single mother with 3 kids.
She addressed and treated me like I was her child.
Reported this to HR on 3x occasions.
They recommended me assimilating to her management style. I burst out laughing.
They referred me to EAP for assistance.
She is now a mid level manager.
I quit a became general manager at better company.
Ha, jokes. I had a bigoted, s-xist, and clearly homophonic female leader that regularly belittled me in front of my teams. Felt like a jr high locker room. When I filed a report, it turned into a 360° review of me and I was told that I cannot be “harassed” because….wait for it…. I’m not part of a protected class.
Straight, white men need not apply.
3M’s self righteous attempt to look progressive and ethical is a complete sham
Ethics.com is a joke. As someone mentioned they do nothing! They demand to talk to you or to know your position. I thought it was anonymous! Total joke and discouragement when I had written proof of ethics violations!
Filed multiple ethics complaints and they literally did nothing. What an absolute sham of a system. HR is a joke. Employees call them Company Resources and not HR for a reason. Clowns.
This is the first company I worked for where senior leadership can emotionally abuse, harass, and berate direct reports and HR does nothing. I use to separate the company from the leadership but I realize now it is the company that allows abusive leaders to exist and even promotes them. 3M says it supports the mental health of employees but if you ignore workplace harassment you hurt employees’ mental health. 3M talks about creating a psychologically safe environment but if you go to HR and say you do not feel psychologically safe with your manager they do not believe you. This is not what a truly ethical company does.
Per posts elsewhere on this site, it's apparent these awards are mostly self-nominated and are subject to minimal or in some cases, no vetting for content accuracy by the sponsoring entities. In reality, these are pure fluff. Then again, since they're not doing much for the benefit of the company, it does give executive management something new to post on their LinkedIn site.
I can not believe this happened. 3M is the most unethical company I have ever worked for. Who in the world is nominating them and maybe the people running these polls should do some research because this is a joke and to the potential new employees need to do their research because this is beyond dishonest and disgusting of 3M!!!!!!
