Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Meta is laying off another 10K workers

Here is another tech company that is having problems but they are doing something about it. Add this to the 11K let go last November and it ends up being just less than 25% of the employees that they had before the layoffs started. They have also closed around 5K of posted job openings.

Meta management knows how to address a problem before it gets too big. Intel management won't see the problem and tells everyone else that they are wrong. At the end of 2023, Meta will probably be doing better and Intel will be doing much worse.

Also, Meta didn't traumatize their workforce for months while everyone waited for decisions to be made.
