Change freeze a bit concerning

Email yesterday about hard freeze on changes given volatility. Yes it's risk mitigation, but a bit concerning nonetheless.

OP must be new(er). This has happened before and is a smart move given the volatility of the market right now,

Pretty sure it has to do with the cache app misreporting the Hogan ledger of account balances last Friday that made management risk adverse during a rise in new deposits.

This is normal, it happens and nothing to be concerned about. Funny enough, the freeze doesn't prevent bad things from happening, only delays bad things from happening now.

And you'd think the freeze means less work but often all the little critters come out of the woodwork and suddenly have time to say hello.

for IT... shows that Wells Fargo management's lack of faith in the stability of the tech delivery process.

Are you new?

The same thing happened February of last year when Russia invaded Ukraine.

Whenever there is a major national or international event or economic event, changes are frozen.

Like IT changes? They do this quite often when there are national economic issues.
