Within 10 ft of any member you should be looking up at the steel as if searching for something, or going around the corner the other direction. This is my 10-foot protocol.

So many rules only matter when they are looking to get rid of you.

Same thing with having to take a lunch before 6 hours. Does not apply anymore.

If managers and leads dont feel they make enough to do something, the hourly definitely does not

Appears to be the " trickle down theory " Maybe if management and the powers that be that instituted the so called " Ten foot rule ", practiced what they preached , then and only then maybe the hourly's would follow. Lets see, how many times you can count that a
District Manager, Club Manager or Team Lead failed to even acknowledge your presence . Sad !!!

ten foot rule only matters if they want to get you in trouble and cant find anything else to yell at you about. come to work on time , do your work well , smile at every one , get along with everyone but say one thing to a manager that sounds like truth they dont want to hear and you very well could find yourself in violation of the ten foot rule. After hours and days of watching you on camera they finally caught you not saying hello to a member who came within 9 foot 10 inches of your back. Never mind you could not have been aware of their presence. You did not greet that member and sell them long term item insurance , sign them up for a credit card , help them download the scan and go app or even get them to upgrade to a plus membership. You vile and sickening sum , you obviously do not care about your job. Sams or the members !!!
