Google, At&t opens call center in Mexico. At&t are hiring credit & collection reps to fill call center there.

Geronimo and James appear to be executives in training, sc--w the employees while enriching and fattening themselves. Isn’t time to vote this year for union officers?

San Antonio is on it's way out. Attendance is bad in the whole building. I think Loyalty department cut back hours and are closing weekends now. Not to mention our union is the worst. They don't do anything for the reps

There have been talks of closing the whole San Antonio office on Saint Marys. The departments there have horrible attendance and the jobs are already being done overseas or in South/Central America. Collections, Retention, Tier 2 Tech Support and Channel Support. 4 departments that AT&T is paying a loy of money for when they can surplus the whole site

Because the calls are getting routed to somewhere like Mexico or India. In a few months, they'll point out your low volumes and lay everyone off.

You guys should do some test calls on your 800 number to see who they route to. That will answer alot of your questions...

Question. Who is actually calling into a center for service these days? And what about volumes? Perhaps not as drastic but kind of like going into a store to buy a phone and having it activated for you these days.

The 500 seat call center in Mesa, AZ is down to 1 floor and around 100 reps with no new training for months!

You pay CWA for representation. That question is for them.

CWA is asleep. AT& T changes working conditions with zero intervention from the union.

Stop paying dues or ask for annual refund.

The 1000 seat call center in Mexico just went online. I heard they were training about 200 people for Revenue and Collections and another 250 for Sales, Billing and Disconnects. They have had about 150 working as Premium Support which I heard was Mobility Billing and Order Support functions.

Probably started routing some of the calls to the new call center in a lower paid country. They will eventually shut them all off. Call center jobs in the US have been on the decline for years. The union can only save your job for so long.
