Because of the tornado
Things must be bad - I have worked in two different districts, and there are stores in both footprints where VZ is closing the stores in each with several years left on the leases, and keeping them vacant until the leases run out. We heard this directly from our VGS person. It appears that leadership is quietly shrinking the business...not only on the store channel side but also on the administrative side. Alot of empty real estate. It may be time to bail on the store channel?

Last time 8am Sunday call was in NE for UNION activity. Not suprised at all if it is the U word given how terrible this place has become
Just heard an ASM complaining about the 8 am call tomorrow.
Fits the time line. Can't verify the call happening tho.
