I'm at team lead in the produce department my closer called out I worked 13 hours today and not 1 fresh manager came over to help me so you know what I'm not giving my all anymore.

Your gm, your managers and corporate don't give a rats a-s. So why bother. I call it the trickle down effext!
learn from this experience. never stay over due to someone calling out.
every department should have at least two people schedules for every shift. someone is going to call out at some point. but corporate doesn't take into account it will happen.
this company can afford to staff these departments properly. but they've become so greedy that they refuse to.
leave when you are scheduled to leave.
They. Don't. Care. The sooner you understand this, the better off you'll be.
hahaha its been going down hill every year for the last 25 years... I bet you got promoted to team lead after having been there for what 3 to 5 months? Thought you were better than those long timers who were never team leads? Thought you were in tight with management? BOO HOO i bet you left you other produce workers with butts hanging in the wind more then ever help them. Walked around with a manager til the end of the shift then ran over to produce to bark at someone else for not having the work done. Likely it was good for you to have to work for once. Now maybe you will appreciate your workers a bit more.
then in a few days they will tell you to cut your hours, i will never stay over due to this happening too often. Long term associate here and I despise the company today, in the last 5 years it has gone downhill.
