Companies wouldn't need NDAs if they stopped doing things that were embarrassing or illegal.

Getting rid of NDAs forces companies to clean up their act.

Severance is a courtesy and a show of professionalism.

Just like giving 2 weeks notice when you quit.

If severance goes away, there's no reason to give notice. Professionalism isn't a one way street.

The NDA is the price you pay for receiving money.
When the NDA is off the table, so is the money.
Not the win you think it is.
