So I will be on a leave without pay for not passing my SIE, how does that work, this maybe a stupid question, what about all my benefits, I have to wait for a job opening, and there will be one just hasn’t posted. I am in limbo, if they would post it I could possibly dodge the leave.

If you can't pass the test that you need to pass in order to have a certain job, then maybe you should reconsider what job you should have.
It used to be if you had 90/180 days to pass whatever exam & you didn’t pass in that timeframe you were done that day. Now the firm cant get licensed applicants so they let you stay on the books. & broker check is updated within hours if you pass (or don’t) your manager knows.
My gosh. I think you first need to master the English language. Your grammar, etc. is more than annoying and outrageous!! LOL!
Why did you tell 'em you failed?
Should have quietly retake and pass
Others have been let go outright for failing an exam - interesting they are doing a “leave” scenario…..so much for consistency in applying policies
How did you fail that?
That sucks I have been with the company so long, I thought so. Thank you
You are a 6 month job search. You are not eligible for benefits but if you find a job they will start right away.
SEI is an ancient system we use in WIM…lol and SIE is a finra exam for a license. Series 7 etc. you need to obtain that license to work in certain roles in WFA and Cap Mkts…
It is a securities test to become a licensed banker.
