People knew early cause mgmt had to plan this earlier. My guess is 3-6 months ago serious talks were had where future work wont cover salary costs. A probably it was set in stone 2 weeks ago. Someone talked who shouldn’t have

Going Out of Business Sale!
I was one of those affected by the lay-off and will say yes appreciated the prayers and well wishes that we are able to recover and get back on our feet quickly. The Executive Leadership is the cause that created this Reduction in Force. Their high optimism of contracts coming that have not been realized as quickly as they had hoped much less expected creating this financial crisis they are experiencing now. This lay-off could have/ should have happened months ago. It was a reality. As for the future of the company, whatever one has to say about them, they your words. Lay-offs are realities all companies at one time or another usually ends of dealing with despite years ago when GA would say "they've never had to do lay-offs". Certainly not the case. Again, they're future. Either these contracts will come down the road to limp along and/or the Blue's could sell to a major corporation. It was a tough day for sure.

Sorry to hear about the layoff, and pray that most of those affected are ok during these tough times.
GA is a sh-t company. They are a small fish in the defense industry. A one trick pony.
The only way they will evolve, is to get that old school management out of there.
