I was laid off this morning from my Account Executive position. My manager called me in the morning and it seemed like they were reading off of a very generic script. When asking if this was performance based, all my manager could disclose is that it was a workforce reduction. There was no message or communication from anyone higher up. Severance is rumored to be 4 weeks. Seems like NetSuite doesn’t want this to be very public. The market is way too saturated and NS is way too expensive for small businesses.

Same thing happened to me. Also was an AE and manager read from a script.
Its all about your relationship with your manager. You get saved or axed based on that IMO. VPs asked Managers who should go.
to be fair most of the AE's ive worked with had no idea what they were talking about... always selling more skus ontop of things that already werent working. Not saying thats you... but a little bit of culling of the herd is never a bad thing. There are regions where the AE's seem like they were playing a battle royale with 6 AE's in a region that could realistically only support 2-3.
