What is Next for Indirect Account Managers?

And when? This position has felt expendable for a while. Anyone have any insight as to what will happen for this position and when?

I saw a post a couple weeks ago about going vertical per agent with no nationals. Haven’t seen or heard anything since that post.

@1hdm+1lbOVStu With that logic…the Agent AM would have around 150 agent stores and the National AM would have around 300 stores. Makes total sense. Smh Whatever
Verticals or complete elimination makes more sense than your asinine post.
But then again they paired indirect with retail which was stupid at fu-k. Verizon must be accepting all stupid ideas at this point.

It’s been argued both the 2/2 (which had minor layoffs) and 2/16. Guess we will see in about 36 hours if there is large impacts. If nothing happens Thursday, maybe it won’t for a while. Hard to tell the direction of this company anymore

They were supposed confirmed for 2/2. I’ve asked around and the only place to report this or have word of it is the website. Any more details?

Reports are 2 IAMs per sales territory reporting to the Director. One for National Retail and one for Agent locations. They will visit each door once a quarter to check up on merchandising and trainings

Enterprise-wide, the indirect's headcount will be reduced by 40%+. The remaining IAM will be responsible for more doors. This leaner structure makes sense to the senior leadership since agents are self-sufficient. The remaining IAM will do spot checks on merch, training, etc.
