I'm in OPOO, 4 of the 7 on my team being cut (myself included). Just 4 days before my 17th anniversary. What a way to celebrate.

Customer care messaging and social media is being laid off. I literally was just in a meeting about it. They will have an opportunity to apply for Tech Support. Tech chat is adding 100 new positions.

"Outsourcing all of care? 😳" Pretty sure that is inaccurate, we've had outsourced CS in those international locations for years, along with our current internal teams. So far communications I've heard hasn't mentioned impacts to internal frontline Customer Service teams.

Customer care is getting laid off as Verizon is outsourcing customer care to India and the Philippines. Same with social media. Tech Support is safe as they can’t give access to Remedy to vendor sites.

P&E has no relation to OP&OO (they are part of COO). RIFs are widespread through a bunch of teams in P&E. No rhyme or reason from what I can tell, just 10% or so from all over
@epr+1ld3kjok I think VBG had a similar round of layoffs last year, but VCG didn't
VBG Program Management. 2 people impacted on our team. Both Program Managers 7T. One in Florida and one in California.

I am an IAM. Whole position is being eliminated. Just got the call. They are going a call center model for agents. All IAMs off the books by March 17
Which group within P&E?
P&E all hands - eliminating positions. Those impacted notified earlier today.
At least 1 OP&OO team got the RIF today, heard another being restructured and moved. So definitely some OPOO impacts

Just found out all IAMs are safe. Expect some restructuring.

No news on VCG OP&OO front so far.
Not a lot of chatter, but have seen a few posts. One said an IAM cut, another very generic VCG post. May be minor cuts. May be more clear in the next 2 hours
