Unlike a lot of posts that are saying IAMs are being let go no one is being laid off today. All just fake rumors.

Indirect Account Manager support non verizon owned stores by training, helping resolve issues, keeping aligned with stores and regional leaders and taking calls 7 days a week with helping new employees who are too afraid to admit they need more training. If someone has been sitting on the beach answering Slack messages, you are the cause of this. And You are uneducated and lazy.
I got moved to a new team: Field Universal Channel Team, or FUCT for short.
The only layoffs that I saw today in a meeting I was in with the head of digital and Hr are care messaging reps, and social media...there have been other tech support who got laid off today as well.
That sucks
Being an IAM is great, sit on the beach, enjoy the sunshine, drink beer, answer your phone and stay signed in on Slack. Been doing it for years.
I can’t for the life of me figure out what an indirect account manager even does, I’ve worked here for years and have heard the term thrown around though.
What is an IAM?
@zxx+1ldkoasX your manager lied to your face
See ya IAMs. I hope retail doesn’t inherit the mess.
All IAMs across the entire company RIF’d. Just got the call. Our poor agent partners will be supported by a “center of excellence”. If it’s anything like our vendor centers for everything else…. They are fu---d. I am an IAM in NC…. Or I was until 10 minutes ago.
This aged like milk.
Confirmed all IAM in our territory gone
The entire IAM was RIF'd today.. and this is enterprises-wide.
my manager said nothing major is going on
there may be isolated cases that are local restructuring but not across the board cuts
People are being impacted, getting details at noon
There was just one (downvoted) post about IAM layoffs and one post about them being safe, let’s just wait and see before jumping to any conclusions.
How did you confirm this?
